1844:

George Williams e vendosi YMCA në Londër

George Williams establishes YMCA in London.

 

1852:

Henry Dunant (fitues I Çmimit Nobel për Paqe dhe themelues I Kryqit të Kuq) e bashkë-themeloi YMCA në Gjenevë, Zvicër.

Henry Dunant (Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of the Red Cross) co-founds YMCA in Geneva, Switzerland.

1855:

Konferenca e parë e YMCA në Paris, Francë. “Kriteret e Parisit”(Paris Basis) ku u adoptua deklarata e misionit tonë.

1st YMCA World Conference in Paris, France. “Paris Basis”mission statement is adopted.

 

1891:

James Naismith shpiku basketbollin në Kolegjin e YMCA Springfield, SHBA.

James Naismith invented Basketball at YMCA Springfield College, USA

 

1939-45:

YMCA mbështet të burgosurit e luftës gjatë Luftës së Dytë Botërore.

YMCA supports prisoners of war during World War II.

 

1946:

John R. Mott (Vullnetarë i YMCA dhe staf I World Allience) e pranon Çmimin Nobel për Paqe.

John R. Mott (long-serving YMCA volunteer and World Alliance staff) receives the Nobel Peace Prize.

1947:  

Aleanca Botërore e YMCA-ve mori çmimin e  statusit konsultativ me UN ECOSOC.

World Alliance of YMCAs awarded consultative status with UN ECOSOC.

 

1973:

YMCA Europa u themelua.

YMCA Europe is founded.

 

2008:

Martti Ahtisaari( Punonjës i YMCA dhe ish President i Finlandës) fitoi Çmimin Nobel për Paqe. Ai luajti një rol thelbësor ne Kosovë, duke i dhënë fund konfliktit.

Martti Ahtisaari (YMCA employee and ex President of Finland) awarded Nobel Peace Prize. He played a prominent role in ending the conflict in Kosovo.

2018:
Patricia Pelton është zgjedhur Presidente e Aleancës Botërore të YMCAs, ku është hera e parë që një grua ka mbajtur këtë rol. Ajo u zgjodh për mandatin 2018-2022 me platformën e saj të fuqizimit të të rinjve, YMCA të forta, qeverisje të mirë dhe një mbikëqyrje të fortë financiare.

Patricia Pelton has been elected as President of the World Alliance of YMCAs, the first time a woman has ever held the role. She was elected for the 2018-2022 term on a platform of youth empowerment, strong YMCA's, good governance and robust financial oversight.
