YMCA Germany - Save Space for Young People

 

YMCA Germany has funded this project through their Signs of hope project up to 2021. The project aims to help the organisation become more sustainable and to empower more young people.

UNICEF - Innovation HUB

Innovation Hub is a space that offers young people the opportunity to meet and develop their ideas.

This project is supported by UNICEF. 

CARE International Balkans - Young Man Initiative

The project objective is to enable positive and peaceful societies for young people in Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, that support gender equality and decrease interpersonal violence and its extremism.

This project is supported by Austrian Development Agency (ADA), and OAK Foundation, implemented by CARE International Balkans within GWY.

U.S. Embassy Prishtina - Youth Building Bridges

Engaging young people from different communities through weekly activies which look at issues like democracy, volunteerism and culture. Peace building element through the arts with an end of project showcase.

Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo - Y WoMan 

The Y WoMan project is a project aimed at educating young people and women in mixed groups using informal and thought-provoking activities that challenge traditional thinking about gender equality. The project started on 1 July 2019 and continues until 31 April 2020.

The Y WoMan project is funded by the Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo and implemented by the George Williams Youth Association in Kosovo.

European Union - mY community

The 'mYcommunity' project is a project that aims to promote youth participation in democratic and decision-making processes through non-formal education activities.

This project is funded by the European Union and managed by European Union Kosovo. While is implemented by GWY within the GrassRoots Action Support - GRAS project implemented by the Kosovo Stability Initiative - IKS, Lens and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Pristina Office.

Y's Men International- Switzerland and Hardeners Y's Men Club

In 2014, with the initiative of Arne Nielsen and with the support of Y's Men Hardeners, the organization applied to the Time of Fast fund opened by Y's Men International based in Switzerland, where we were supported with a grant to open the first charity shop in Kosovo in the municipality. of Gjakova.

They also helped in 2019 in applying to the same fund for the opening of the second charity shop in Pristina, in order to support us in protecting the environment and employment of young people.

UN Development Coordinator’s Office.​

From January 2020, which starts the 75th anniversary year of the Organization, the UN is working with partners to initiate dialogues within and across borders, sectors, and generations. The aim is to reach as many people as possible: to listen to their hopes and fears; learn from their experiences; and empower them to think and act globally. 

YMCA is joining this initiative in partnership with the United Nations Kosovo Team by creating an open platform for stakeholders of the youth sector in Kosovo.
